In my experience this is awesome. There were times when I wanted karaoke tracks of latest songs and I was unable to find them on youtube or other places. So I tried creating karaoke for those tracks myself but got intimidated by all the settings and learning curve involved. It takes lot of time to understand music production softwares like Garageband(only one that i know of:))
One of my friends recommended myra.io. I used it to create karaoke tracks of several songs. It’s great. I generally upload these tracks on Smule and sing on it. I was surprised to see how much attention I got on Smule when I sang on tracks created on myra.io. Love the add melody feature.
I would love if myra.io came up with more features in future.
